Atlas Rubicon Curriculum Mapping and Differentiation Resources for your Professional Educator Tool Kits and Quality Review
- An excellent differentiation strategies tool located by Linda. - A differentiated unit plan guide - Katherine's Atlas map has completed map categories. - A rubric to evaluate your map. This will also be done formally by Mr. Link prior to our QR. - A Bloom's Taxonomy action verb sheet
The Common Core State Standard College and Career Readiness Anchor Standard for Writing- RANGE OF WRITING must be a Key Standard in every map and lesson plan in our school on the day of the QR and beyond. The standard itself, an expanded version, and a resource on reflective writing are all below.
Data should also be student work that you examine individually and together for areas of student strength and weakness, which necessitates adjusted (differentiated) instruction. Remember you can consult IEPs now in Skedula. Our BASH ELA students are listed below. Mr. Soto will be leading a PD on SIOP, which is an instructional approach specifically designed for ELL populations.
In the classroom. Quite to the point- the Quality Reviewer will want to see differentiation, alignment of your lesson plan and skills taught based on your curriculum and key standards (one of them being the Common Core Anchor Standard of Range of Writing - the rest should be other CCSS and NYSS based on the needs of your students assessed by you through data and your subject area expertise to prepare them for the Regents, College and Career.
There will likely be questions about how you respond to interim assessments and other benchmarks in terms of instructional adjustments that you make. A visual depiction of the data cycle is below.
